SUSTAINBILITY
From the start of our production chain we offer our clients more envoironmentally friendly options such as recycled polyester, certified organic cotton and minimized pacakging.
Historically, dyeing textiles has been one of the most environmentally damaging processes in the apparel manufacturing chain. Dyeing fabric requires large amounts of water. Then adding dyestuff to achieve the required colour results in the water becoming toxic and damaging to the environment as this mix of water and dye stuff sludge is released outside the dyeing facility.
At DYE CAST , under our RESPONSIBLE MANUFACTURING initiative, we do not release any polluted water outside the dyeing facilities. All the water is cleaned and recycled for use again. The separated dye stuff sludge is then dried, making it ideal to be used as bricks for construction. This in turn also reduces the use of natural clays in the manufacturing of bricks.
